Details
Framer is a no-code website builder that pairs a designer-friendly canvas with a CMS, built-in animations, and real-time collaboration. Sites are published on Framer’s hosted infrastructure with SEO and localisation built in. The product is widely adopted by high-growth startups and design-led marketing teams for landing pages and full marketing sites.
About Framer
Framer was founded in Amsterdam in 2013 by Koen Bok and Jorn van Dijk. It began as a prototyping tool for designers and became a production website builder with a CMS, animation and SEO controls.
Its terms name Framer B.V. and its affiliates under Dutch law, but the company’s funding rounds were raised by Framer, Inc., a Delaware corporation registered at the same Amsterdam address and incorporated in 2014. Its Form D filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission report USD 26.5 million sold in 2018 and USD 100 million in August 2025, the latter signed by Bok as chief executive.
