Legora
Legal AI Sweden
AI workspace for lawyers covering research, drafting, and review. Alternative to Harvey.
Details
Legora is a collaborative AI workspace for legal teams, combining a chat-based assistant, document review, research and drafting in a single product, with agentic intake and integrations such as iManage added in October 2026. It was built in Stockholm and pitched as the European answer to Harvey.
Its customers include Linklaters, Barclays, White & Case and more than half of the AmLaw 50, and the company says the US is now its largest market. Buyers compare it against Harvey on collaboration, model quality and jurisdiction-specific depth.
The operating company and EU contracting party is Legora AB in Stockholm, under Swedish law, but the group’s parent is Legora, Inc., a Delaware corporation that issues the shares in its funding rounds, including the $550M Series E at $8.8B announced on 21 October 2026.
About Legora
Legora runs from Stockholm, and Legora AB (559338-6872, formerly Leya AB) is the operating company: it is the data controller in the privacy policy and the publisher of its marketplace listings, and EU customers contract under Swedish law with arbitration in Stockholm. The top of the group is not Swedish. Legora, Inc., a Delaware corporation formed on 31 October 2023, is the company investors buy into. Its SEC Form D filings for the 2025 Series B and C and the March 2026 Series D name it as issuer, signed by chief executive Max Junestrand and listing four directors, and since September 2026 the privacy policy refers to “our parent company”.
On 21 October 2026 Legora announced a $550M Series E at an $8.8B valuation, led by Atreides Management (Boston) with Baron Capital, Capital Group, Fidelity and J.P. Morgan joining Accel, Benchmark, Bessemer, General Catalyst, ICONIQ and others. It reports more than $200M in annual recurring revenue, over 1,000 staff in 18 offices, and the US as its largest market.
A US parent above a European operating company is the structure this catalog treats as non-European, as with Photoroom and Colossyan.
