One-click translation into 80+ languages, SCORM export and SSO are enterprise-only.

About Synthesia

Synthesia Limited was incorporated in England and Wales on 25 August 2017 under company number 10933652, registered at Level 3 (South), 20 Triton Street, Regent’s Place, London NW1 3BF. It is the parent of the group and files consolidated accounts audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Note 28 of those accounts records that the directors consider there to be no single ultimate controlling party, and the company’s active entry on the Companies House PSC register says the same.

The group’s accounts to 31 December 2025 show revenue of USD 113.2 million against USD 58.3 million the year before, a loss before tax of USD 69.9 million and net assets of USD 353.8 million. Average headcount rose from 353 to 481, of whom 298 were employed by the UK company. In January 2026 Synthesia raised a USD 200 million Series E at a USD 4 billion valuation, led by Google’s venture arm GV.

The platform generates video from typed script using AI avatars in more than 140 languages, sold mainly to enterprises for training and internal communication. Synthesia Limited is the contracting party in every region, but its customer terms route governing law by the customer’s location: England and Wales for UK customers, Irish law and the Dublin courts for the rest of Europe, and Californian law with venue in San Francisco County everywhere else.
